Mets Should Add Veterans to the Mix. . .

While they cultivate youth in the farm system, the Mets should add a couple of key players that have years of experience and can serve to mentor youth.  I would bring back Miguel Batista and add Ivan Rodriquez.  The latter might be a good guy to keep around beyond his playing years as a scout in Latin America or as a member of their minor league development team.
