MiLB: 2011 Mets Organization All Stars
MiLB provides a nice in-depth look at some of the top performers around the Mets farm system in 2011. Includes some decent commentary from first-hand sources such as DePo, Backman, etc.
NOTE - 'top performers' doesn't necessarily mean top prospects

From what I know of him, he sounds like a left handed version of Dillon Gee, maybe a half-win better. A good guy to have in the org

A bit better, I would say
"Blinding ignorance does mislead us. O! Wretched mortals, open your eyes!" Gil Hodges IS a Hall of Famer.

Could have a significantly higher ceiling than Gee
Depending on how overenthusiastic the most overenthusiastic reports have been. Kevin Goldstein had him “sitting 90-93”, which seems a bit starry-eyed, but by all accounts he has major-league velocity for a lefty. Still a ways to go, of course.
The names are familiar and sort of expected. I hope these guys pan out and we will be top heavy with talent in just a few years.
Amazingly, Omar actually left the farm with a few real gems.

You can't say he was the worst GM for scouting prospects, can you?

What's the deal with the shortstop, Muno?
Is he a prospect, or just someone who had a real good season and is gonna disappear at a higher level?
Time to update this: 2009 Did Not Happen. Neither did 2010. Or 2011. Sports suck.
Highly disciplined hitter with very good patience.
Not a lot of power, though. Physically, a bit on the small side, and I remember there being concerns about him having the arm for SS when he was drafted.
"And that's why anybody who invested with Lenny Dykstra should really call that number. Lawyers are standing by."

right
i see him as one of those guys that’s solid at a lot of things but not great at any one thing. i can definitely see him resembling a guy like marco scutaro.
