its about the statistics

hey guys long time lurker not long time poster lol. anyway us mets fans have been the laughingstock of a lot of people because we keep losing. the money ball experiment has failed. the problem is our teams reliance on the kind of statistics that made mike pelfry the opening day starter instead of dickey. that was just foolish. what mets and mets fans need lol is more guys who can hit and more guys who can pitch . the thing is that we need the right stats. as we can see some of the mets had great stats like shortstop jose reys and second sacker dan murphy, they had great batting averages and would be a great one two hitter combo. then you'd have ike davis third but i think we all know who needs to go and that is third baseman david wright who only hit .258 and that is okay but only if you hit 50 homers plus like babe ruth or barry bonds (lol but he only woulda hit 20 without the roids)... anyway back on topic lets talk about the lineup now ss reys 2b murph 1b davis rf duda cf pagan lf bay 3b turner c thole. this lineup is still weak so we need players like bill madlock or ted williams who can hit the ball and make rallies. murph is the only rally maker here MAYBE i repeat MAYBE ike davis but other than that we have no guys who can really hit the ball on the seams oh right duda. but yeag the sort of guy we need is none other than albert pujols i wonder if we could swing a deal for him if the mets fans chip in some money we could get a pot going lol anyway with the moey we save trading wirght we could get albert to play 3rd the nour lineup would look like ss reyes 2b murph 3b pujols 1b davis rf duda cf pagan lf bay c thole thats not too bad, now lets talk about pitching where we need more guys with good eras i know wins are outdated relics of old times lol but still we need some guys like steve trachsel who can go out there and win 15 games for you and i think ra dicky is that guy, he is a proven winner and he also messes up the others lineups. johan will also be good. now we just need three more spots - i say one for the young kid niese i like his stuff, and we need two other players also - i like matt harvey of the double as and dylan gee of the mets. what we need to do is get rid of mike plefry, he reminds me of late john maine with more lickin of hands and less strikeouts and walks. always the count is 3-2 and always there is a foul ball and a foul ball and a foul ball. so what i do is i trade mike pelfry to the yanks for nothing so he can suck for them instead maybe we get someone like bret gardner back who can hit the ball and play lf instead of bay (bay is the weakest link in our lineup). eras: 3.0 dicky 3.0 santana 3.0 harvey 3.5 gee 3.5 niese this would be a good rotation and remember we always have guys like fulmer and meja in backup in the triple as. this new kid zack wheeler looks like a future ace also but he needs more control before he's ready to go to the leagues. oh i forgot the batting averages of the mets .320 reyes .310 murphy .350 pujols .300 davis .300 duda .300 pagan .300 gardner .300 thole woah that's all 300s lol how could you not go with this spartan plan lol there were 300 men in the movie 300. another thing our team needs is BULLPEN. but we could get a guy like wheeler or meja to apprentice in the bullpen while they get ready to take over for santana and dicky who are agin fast. even they could replace gee lol cause he is the weak link even though he can win 13 games a year i think wheelre and meja could win 16-17-18 or something with wheeler being the 18 and meja being th e16. some guys who could be good are like bobby parnell who you guys call capn fastball (LOL) cause he trhwos hard. i would make him the closer because he looks like a cloer and throws hard like a closer and he can strike the guy out when it's necesary. i also want to bring back many acosta who sucked the first half but was a lot better with a wooosh woosh changeup in the second half. the lefties herrerrra and byrdack can also come back but that is all, i don't want to see more pedro "beaton" beaton or chris swimmer or miggy bastisa or jorge julio or anyone or jorge sosa. or oh my god fernando neve that guy was AWAFUL DID YOU SEE HIS START IN MILWAUKEE LOL HE WAS WORSE THAN OLIVER PEREZZZ!!!!!!! LOL!!!!!!  basically what we need to do is have sandy and the money ballers show their balls and their money by getting albert pujols yes he is expensive yes he is coming off a not good seaosn but even a not good season from albert is like any season from albert he still hit good in the clutch and he has the world seires rings to prove it he is in a class with babe and reggie alone ALONE and he is the first non yank to do it which would make sense cause he's one of the best in the game. he is also versatily and he can play utilty at lf 1b 3b and even rf maybe but don't count on it and we got duda there anyway. first omar and the hispanics fail and then sandy and the moneyballers fail it's time for metfanfive and the fanball to come in and make the mets again please star me if you like me.

You cant judge Alderson based on one season

His hands were tied (and continue to be tied) because of payroll and the Wilpon situation. Please go back to Pinstripe Ally and troll elsewhere

If this is real, I sincerely feel sorry for your lack of writing skills.

If this is fake, you’re obviously trying too hard and it was a big miss.

Either way, this is awful.

Public school, obviously.

In all seriousness, if you’re sincere and not a troll, you desperately need to improve your grammar. I didn’t even read the post; I took one look at that horrorshow of a paragraph and went straight to the comments to see the beating you’d take.

For the record, I mostly went to public schools.

But if you went to private school and wrote like that, your parents would sue to get the tuition back.

Depends

In NYC there are the Stuyvesants/Hunters/Bronx Sciences that are magnet schools, and then there are the ‘other’ schools where the teachers are…well… sometimes amazing but often well below par.
