Well
When you have that small taste of things actually getting better (they were leading the Central for awhiel), you forget how to trade. Granted I hate the Pirates
Mets, Jets, Devils, United Football League
My hatred for the Penns
Transfers to the Pirates in addition they were our rival back in the heyday
Mets, Jets, Devils, United Football League

On behalf of all Mets fans I'd like to offer my condolences to Pittsburgh

I was going to say
Am I allowed to feel bad for the Pirates because of this?

it is ridiculous that any team would bother with iggy
after the unmitigated disaster that was his stint in Flushing…
I guess a 9.5 K/9 rate gets teams hopeful…even if it comes with a 6.5 (!) BB/9 rate as well.
"Igarashi's a good Japanese import for the Mets. Not a Masato Yoshii or a Kaz Matsui, but a good import."
"Hey Paul, re..remember when you were in The Beatles? That was awesome."
It was good process, bad results
Masato Yoshii wasn’t that bad, though. Neither was Matsui, in the grand scheme of things (especially his overall MLB career). Both were better than Toyota Irrigation, I would say.

I think my MLB career
Was better than Iggy’s…
Mets, Devils, Jets, Knicks

Dickey be Praised!
I think my little league career was better than Iggy's major league career
and for the most part, I was pretty bad.
