Awesome, is anyone else more excited to watch Dickey than any other Met right now?Also, opening day starter? And if so, will he be the first knuckleballer ever to do so?

I believe Pelf

has already been named Opening Day starter. He’d be the first knuckler to start for a Merts opener (the only other knuckler I can even recall is Dennis Springer in a mercifully brief stint. Of course, Phil Niekro did it lots of times for the Braves. I would guess Joe Niekro might have done the same for Houston, and possibly even for San Diego.
