Miguel Olivo becomes my Spring Training Hero
"I’m in the fourth best shape of my life," said a sort of noticeably trim Olivo. "Last year I was only in the 11th best shape of my life, so I really put time in the gym this offseason. I wanted to get into the top 5 shapes of my life."
This pretty much made my day, I will now be paying more attention to Olivo...just for his awesome comments.

Hahahaha
I suddenly like Miguel Olivo, even if Jose Reyes doesn’t.
I bet Jerry Manuel just bunted.
For a second there
I thought this was real.
I bet Jerry Manuel just bunted.
Same here.

They were long time friends
growing up and probably have gotten over the skirmish from a couple years back. I for one still don’t like Olivo no matter wtf clever shit is coming out of his mouth for the simple fact that he was dumb enough to go after Reyes.

I know Reyes and Hanley Ramirez were childhood friends.
Didn’t know about Olivo though.
Save Jenrry Mejia!
From DNL article: Sunday, September 30th 2007
“Jose Reyes and Marlins catcher Miguel Olivo, longtime friends from the Dominican Republic, each charged the other with instigating the fifth-inning melee that ratcheted up the 13-0 victory yesterday that vaulted the Mets back into a first-place tie in the NL East.”

How many no-hitters did Oliver Perez and John Maine combine to throw?

6.
Although Ollie lost one of his, 3-1. He walked 8 batters, hit 2, and threw 2 wild pitches.

It totally sounds like an Onion joke.

it's me
i confess it
I feel bad for my little brother. He walked in and saw that the score of the Nugs-Magic game was 88-89 and thought it was high scoring.
All he knows is the Nets.

But if you're Olivo, who is this?
