Mets ST Farm Report 3/23
Triple-A Buffalo continued their winless ways as they lost to the hated Syracuse (Sky)Chiefs 2-0. RHP Boof Bonser got the 'L' after allowing two runs (one earned) in 3.2 innings of work. RHP Josh Stinson started and tossed four more shutout innings. LHP Taylor Tankersley apparently accepted a minor league assignment and threw 1.1 innings of shutout relief. OF Fernando Martinez continued to produce going 2-for-3 with another walk and a pair of singles.
Double-A Binghamton too fell to a division rival, losing to the Harrisburg Senators 6-2. 6'11" RHP Scott Moviel started and allowed one run in three innings. The Ruff Rider himself RHP Eddie Kunz made his first spring appearance and didn't waste any time, walking the first two batters he faced before two hits, two runs, and an error all while recording just one out. 3B Eric Campbell was the lone bright spot, tallying an RBI single as well as a homer.
Lo-A Savannah topped Hagerstown by the score of 9-3 yesterday. 2010 standouts SS Wilfredo Tovar and OF Darrell Ceciliani both knocked their first homers of the spring in this one. RHP Taylor Whitenton started and threw three scoreless innings, allowing just one hit. RHP Eduardo Aldama allowed a pair of unearned runs in his two innings of relief.

F! draws another walk
Could this be his year?
"He who gets the best players usually wins" - Bobby Bowden
I'm hopeful again.
I realize there are injury concerns, but:
Desmond Jennings is a year older than F!. He has 595 career AAA PA, starting at age 22. His AAA OPS is .790, which is OBP fueled. He is the 6th highest prospect on BA’s list.
F! has 433 PA in AAA… and this is his age 22 season right now. His AAA OPS is .815, which is mostly SLG fueled. He’s fallen to #70 on the BA list.
I'm rooting so, so hard for him
I’ve invested years into watching this kid grow and, doggonnit, I’m not giving up on him until he’s knees literally explode.
