Mets ST Farm Report 3/30
The Bisons edged the Zephyrs yesterday by the score of 3-2. RHP Boof Bonser earned the victory for the Herd, allowing just one run over five innings of work. RHP Dale Thayer struck out five batters in two shutout innings of relief. At the dish, OF Fernando Martinez kept on producing, going 3-for-5 including a double and a home run.

Double-A Binghamton played to a 3-3 tie with Jacksonville in ten innings. Starter LHP Mark Cohoon wasn't great, allowing three runs in four innings. Following Cohoon, a pair of eyesores from 2010 were spotless over the final six frames. RHP Brad Holt tossed a very encouraging five shutout innings and LHP Eric Niesen followed with a scoreless tenth. Offensively, IF Joshua Satin supplied two hits and OF Brahiam Maldonado added a hit and an RBI. 3B Eric Campbell had a strong game defensively and chipped in a couple of walks.
Low-A Savannah topped the Marlins' Greensboro affiliate by the score of 4-1. The Gnats' offense came from 3B Aderlin Rodriguez, who was 1-for-4 with a homer and a walk, and C Albert Cordero, who was 3-for-4 with a longball. 1B Sam Honeck and SS Wilfredo Tovar both went 2-for-4. RHP Greg Peavey started, allowing a run over four innings with a pair of strikeouts. In a very interesting sign, RHP Ryan Fraser followed with four shutout innings allowing a hit, a walk and four strikeouts. LHP Angel Cuan pitched a scoreless ninth.

Any word on Holt's control and strikeouts?
Or do they not report that stuff in minor league spring training?

they only report stats in minor league ST pretty sporadically so what you see is what you get.

It will be interesting if F-Mart stays healthy and continues to hit
I have been very down on F-Mart but maybe he is ready to live up to the hype.
