The Triple-A Bisons capped their spring season with a 9-3 loss to the Zephyrs. OF Kirk Nieuwenehuis finished went 2-for-4 with a pair of doubles and an RBI. OF Jason Pridie was 2-for-3 with a walk and DH Valentino Pascucci went 0-for-2 with a sacrifice fly. The Herd went a combined 4-7-1 this spring season.

The Double-A Mets won their spring finale yesterday by the score of 1-0 over the Suns thanks to some dominant pitching. Six B-Mets pitchers teamed up to face one over the minimum. The only blemish was a base hit allowed by starter RHP Brandon Moore during his four innings of work. LHP Roy Merritt, RHP Brad Holt, RHP Ricky Brooks, RHP Rhiner Cruz, and LHP Eric Niesen each contributed a perfect inning. OF Brahiam Maldonado drove in the only run on a solo homer. The B-Mets tallied a spring record of 8-4-1.

Tomorrow Buffalo and Binghamton will play a scrimmage at the Mets complex and both teams will start their regular seasons this Thursday, April 7th.
