My latest and greatest masterpiece. Motivated by RA Dickey's Darth Vader impersonation. Definitely my most challenging work yet, so I hope you all enjoy. I've upped my crazy levels to plaid speed for this one.

As a note, there is sound, so make sure the speakers are on!

ignoring all this crazy stuff going on around him, and it just seemed like Berg was a good fit (I thought of D3PO as well, but I’ll save that joke for a future installment). Think I probably saw a taco bell commercial while making it or something too.

damn, thats getting fancy. I think i'll stick to non-interactive graphical formats.

I’ve already spent enough time learning new technical skills to make the animations I already have (plus frame by frame editing of videos is enough work already).

I remember back in late 2009/early 2010

I once dominated the MS Paintz/Photoshops scene. It’s like 1 year in AA translates to 10 years in the real world (or is it the other way around?)

I really need to make a move, though. This is getting ridiculous.

I build all my animations frame by frame using GIMP (Open source photoshop)

and then compile my .gifs there. If you want to convert to movie files and add sound like i did here, it’s a couple extra steps.

I’m just a little too lazy. I find it’s much easier to pop out an MSPaint every once in a while when nobody’s expecting it.

UPDATE 1: My browser has crashed several times in the process from all the rants (FUUUUUUUUUUUU!!!!) - as a result, there will instead be 4 or 5 separate installments of fxcarden's Nightly Rants! from 2011, with a similar pattern for the 2012 rants.
