Did Chipper Jones Text Dong Shots to Kelly Kapowski?
I included the question mark because Ms Thiessen doesn't name any names, but she allegedly received nude photos of a baseball player in the mid 90's who is still famous today. There aren't all that many stars still playing from the mid 90's and that time period is also, as you may recall, when Larry's first marriage was collapsing because of the 18 month affair he was conducting with a Hooters waitress that produced a child. So that's my best guess. Other popular candidates include Clemens, A-Rod and Jeter, because all Yankees are disgusting pervs, obviously.

lol, you kill me with the Chipper hate
Hmm. Chipper was a rookie (so, “a little” famous in the broader world) in ’95, and she started on 90210 in ’94. Hmmm.
I think it’s ARod, though. It sounds like him. You know he’s the kind of guy who, if a headshot didn’t get a response, is toolish enough to think maybe a dong shot would.
Am I the only one who doesn't give a fuck what these people do in their personal life?
It’s not illegal, it doesn’t hurt anyone, so why does anyone care?
People don't give his package enough credit
Seriously, who calls their stuff their ‘package’ anymore?

its funny if a famous person sends pictures of his junk to another famous person
and as long as its consensual then i think its fine. but if they are unsolicited, yeah thats not cool.

That's a good point.
So the guy actually possessed hard copies of the pictures and sent them through the mails? Oh god. It’s totally A-Rod.
It doesnt say she got the message in the 90s
It just says the player played during the 90s.
Although the story does say she got it when she was on Beverly Hills 90210. Does anyone know when that was?

She said in the video that it was during the 90's
while 90210 was still on TV.

The list of suspects - sj investigates!
Prerequisites:

- More famous now than before
- Incident occurred in 1994-1998 (player famous then, at time of incident)
—> Seies produced in Van Nuys, CA in Los Angeles County - Still playing today (you forgot that part)
I think it’s Jason Giambi – debuted with A’s in 1995, close proximity to Hollywood, and certainly a little more famous now than in the mid 1990s
Contributing factors: Debuted in 1997 or before, born in California1, drafted out of a school or college in California2, drafted or signed by a team based in California3, played for a team based in California in the mid 1990s4, famous5, fits the “cocky” description (Possibly)6, bonus point if player was born in or played for team in L.A. area in mid-90’s7

One more interesting note
In a 2001 interview, Thiessen said the player in question was “one of the top baseball players.” Not surprisingly, of all the players in the above list, Giambi garnered more MVP award votes than any other player on the list of suspects from either the AL or NL. He placed 2nd in AL MVP voting.
Giambino’s looking more suspicious…

Seconded
Although the player in question is (a little) more famous now than in ~1997, which I assume is the implication. Bartolo didn’t even debut until 1997, in which case he was a virtual unknown.

My curiosity got the better of me
If I’m really interested in the topic, than the answer is ‘yes’. The funny thing was that I suspected Giambi before I even gathered names and put the list together. My findings seem to support my suspicions.
