Havens to DL, Sky Blue
Yes I'm still using that joke.
So yeah, Reese Havens is back on the minor league DL. It sucks. According to the Binghamton press release it's a 'low back strain' and it's the 7-day DL retroactive to June 29th.
So as was previously reported it is not related to his oblique and he could be back as early as the middle of the week, but who among us actually expects that to happen?

I'm getting close to losing hope
The baseball season is really an underrated grind. I can’t see how this guy will ever be a regular and useful contributor. His body just doesn’t seem up to the task.
Oh come on!!
I’ve seen pinatas that weren’t this fragile.

This kid might not get a shot to make a ML club
due to all his injuries.
And what about Familia?
And can we finally sacrifice a chicken or something? This is kind of getting ridicuolus.

Any word on what was wrong?
The vague “dead arm”?

I read they just wanted to skip a start since his innings total was higher than expected
they don’t want him overdoing it and shutting down early
I LIKE IKE!
why are our minor leaguers all made of peanut brittle?
that said at least it’s not an oblique thing again, could just be the standard short DL trip most players make at some point in a season. I’m not giving up on this offseason surgery having at least partially fixed his injury issue.
Hey, wait! I'm having one of those things. You know? A headache with pictures?

must be a plague running through the system or something

Just me
but a lower back issue IS directly related to the oblique. Any injury to your core area is probably due to overcompensating from other parts of your core.
was wondering about this myself
cause we always were told in school that everything is connected
