Justin Turner / Daniel Murphy / Lucas Duda

With David Wright returning on Friday, what sort of lineup do you all expect Terry to run out? I'd like to see Murph play every day at first or second, with Duda getting most of the time at first against righties and Turner getting most of the time at second against lefties, but Murphy and Turner will probably be in there every day with Duda coming off the bench. Sorta marginalizes the Irish Hammer's utility potential, but meh.

I'd like to see

some sort of volleyball like rotation between Duda, Turner, Murphy, Evans and Bay.

But seriously platoon Murph and Turner at 2b. Platoon Duda and Evans at 1b. Mix Murph at 1b once in a while. Mix Duda and Evans in LF once in a while. All based on matchups, hot streaks, etc.

Bay is the key name there

Duda really needs to start getting more of the at-bats we’re wasting on Bay. Maybe that means just splitting time between the two of them in the outfield, or rotating Murphy through LF and getting Duda some time there as well.

i don't understand the platoon at 2B

murph has been playing above average there this season and deserves a shot there full time. with wright and reyes back there doesn’t seem to be a need to mess with the infield anymore.

I still think he’s a great sell-high candidate.

Maybe I irrationally value Turner over Murph at 2b

I hate Murphy’s glove anywhere but I think Turner is pasable at 2b

Turner has what appears to be nice range to his right

but little else.

One way or another, I want to see Duda keep getting AB

The man’s been hitting .289/.353/.444 since his June call-up, with a bunch of XBH and a low K%. I think he’s ready to break out and start dropping bombs.

Agreed.

Duda is the only one of the bunch who we don’t really know what he is yet.

He needs consistent playing time, like starting 5 days a week, and playing most of the game.

When a guy is relegated to PH duties, start once a week, or only plays during interleague, he can’t possibly produce and display his true talent level.
