AAA - Buffalo Bisons (36-49)_______________________________________
SYRACUSE 10, BUFFALO 4 (Box)
Not much in the way of prospects in this one, and the Bisons weren't all that great yesterday. Taylor Tankersley was especially putrid on the day, allowing 6 earned runs in an inning and a third.
- 1B Nick Evans: 0-4, 2 K
- 2B Michael Fisher: 2-4, RBI
AA - Binghamton Mets (29-52)_____________________________________
BOWIE 4, BINGHAMTON 3 (Box)
Poor baserunning was the story in yesterday's game. Beyond getting thrown out three times trying to steal, the B-Mets made repeated additional errors on the basepaths to give this one back to Bowie. Robert Carson put in a so-so effort in this one but managed to make the pitches he needed to keep it from getting out of hand.
- IF Josh Satin: 0-3, BB, 2 K
- 3B Eric Campbell: 4-4, 2B, R, CS
- CF Matt Den Dekker: 1-5, K, SB, CS
- 1B Allan Dykstra: 0-1

- LHP Robert Carson: 6 IP, 8 H, 3 ER, 2 BB, 4 K, HR
Hi-A St. Lucie Mets (6-3)________________________________________
ST. LUCIE 8, BRADENTON 1 (Box)
St. Lucie scored early and often in the 5 inning affair, with Wilmer Flores and Juan Lagares pacing the offense. Kyle Allen was solid on the day, and Bradenton just weren't making strong contact against him.
- LF Juan Lagares: 2-3, 2B, RBI, R
- 3B Jefry Marte: 0-2, BB, R
- SS Wilmer Flores: 3-3, 2 RBI, R
- CF Cesar Puello: 0-3, K
- C Francisco Pena: 0-2, BB, R
- RHP Kyle Allen: 5 IP, 3 H, ER, 3 BB, 6 K, HR
Lo-A Savannah Sand Gnats (10-1)__________________________________
SAVANNNAH 7, AUGUSTA 1 (Box)
Angel Cuan was very good for the Gnats, keeping Augusta at bay after Savannah churned out 7 runs early. There doesn't seem to be much of a 2nd half hangover after clinching a playoff berth with their first half performance.
- CF Darrell Ceciliani: 2-5, K, R, SB
- 3B Aderlin Rodriguez: 0-4
- 2B Wilfredo Tovar: 1-3, RBI, R, 2 BB
- C Blake Forsythe: 1-2, 2B, R, 3 BB
- C Albert Cordero: 0-4, RBI, R
- LHP Angel Cuan: 6 IP, 6 H, 1 ER, 7 K, 0 BB
Short Season A- Brooklyn Cyclones (10-7)_______________________________________
STATEN ISLAND 3, BROOKLYN 2 (Box)
Brooklyn scored twice in the first to get on top early, but that would be it for the offense on the day. With the loss, the Cyclones dropped to 4.5 games behind the Yankees despite a pretty solid 10-7 start.
- RF Javier Rodriguez: 1-4
- CF Travis Taijeron: 1-2, 2 BB, K
- C Nelfi Zapata: 0-4, 2 K

- C Jeffrey Glenn: 2-4, 2B, 2 RBI, K
- LHP Juan Urbina: 4 IP, 3 H, 4 ER, 3 BB, 3 K
- CF Eudy Pina: 1-3, RBI
- C Jeyckol De Leon: 0-5, 2 K, R
- RF Gilbert Gomez: 1-5, 2B, R, K
- 1B Ryan Hutson: 2-8, BB, K, R, RBI
- SS Juan Carlos Gamboa: 0-0, BB
- SS Randoll Santana: 1-7, BB, K, R
- OF Ariel Mercedes: 2-7, RBI, 2 K
★ Star of the Night ★
Several Binghamton batters had nice lines, but all of them had costly errors on the basepaths to contribute to the loss. Angel Cuan will get the honors this morning for another solid outing in Savannah.
