Mets Cancel Weekend Games Against The Braves
Fearful of the impending wrath of Hurricane Irene, the Mets have preemptively canceled Saturday's and Sunday's games against the Braves. The games will be made up as part of a single-admission double-header on Thursday, 8 September, with the first game starting at 4:10pm.
Tickets for Saturday's game will be honored at the make-up double-dip. Tickets for Sunday's game can be redeemed for seats to a future game. Contact the Mets' ticket office at (718) 507-TIXX for more information.
Here is the official press release from the Mets.
