Each team has a fall instructs camp that starts soon, so I think they’d likely just wait until that starts and send him there. No reason to challenge him even further at this point, just 2 weeks into his career.

Apparently they promoted Nimmo and Phil Evans up to Kingsport to finish the season, according to Mets Minor League Blog’s Mike Diaz.
