According to the Twitter feed of one Mets 2011 15th round draftee Phillip Evans, after joining Kingsport for their final few games, he's now headed up to Brooklyn to close out the season with the 'Clones. No official word yet but it stands to reason that Brandon Nimmo -- who also made that trek to Kingsport -- will likely be making the trip north as well. Kudos to the Mets who won't let the NYPL playoff push get in the way of extra 2011 ab's for a couple of their most valuable draft picks. So for all you Mets fans who thought there wasn't any more baseball worth watching in the city this summer, head down to MCU Field and repent!
