While I generally oppose the whole "blue walls thing" this is one are of the field I would like to see painted blue. Since it's the Shea Bridge, paint it the same blue as Shea. To take it one step further, adorn that dull area above it with smaller replicas of the neon figures from the old ballpark.
If you really want to get crazy with them you could have the corresponding figures flash when a play is made. (i.e. the runner for a SB or the pitcher for a K) Maybe I'm just trying to bring back my youth when the "E" in the Manufacturers Hanover sign would light up after an error. embiggen

I think it might look better Orange
or Blue and Orange.
Loved the idea about the neon people – celebrate Shea more!
I LIKE IKE!
I love the idea with the neon lights
However why don’t you want the walls painted blue? I think it would look a lot better

No offense (not sure if you made this)
but the blue walls look hideous there. The blue stands out and clashes with the rest of the stadium. It’s cheap and tacky looking, in my opinion.
I love the charcoal color that’s so apparent around the stadium. It’s subtle in its beauty and it seems to fit in with the surroundings…the grass, the dirt. It’s pleasing to the eye when watching in the stadium or on tv.

Not a huge fan
but I could see it as one of those things that would look better in person.
Save Jenrry Mejia!
Keep Reyes, Trade Wilpon.
That'd look pretty gaudy if you ask me
The neon guys should be somewhere in/outside of the stadium, though, I do think.

Really like this idea, by the way.
The neon figures lighting up for each play would be an excellent touch.

Why not use
led lights and have it alternate between orange and blue ?
One day, this team is going to kill me.
Fill the Mo Zone with neon players!

This reminds me
Isn’t there a stadium with an abandoned sign, where 2+ letters of it light up in various situations (“E” for error, “H” for hit). If only I could remember where this was.

Important thing about Sabermetrics and Statistics - they are essential to understanding the fundamentals of baseball analysis and its intricacies, but they can not quantify everything that affects the game. Misunderstanding of this key concept is where arguments often begin.
