Lutz to DL
"Unfortunately INF Zach Lutz has found a spot on the DL once again with after-effects of his last concussion. Lutz was raking again. On the year he was hitting .295/.380/.500 with 11 home runs in 61 games. OF Mike Baxter took his roster spot." - Nick Franzago
Poor Lutzy. We'll have to wait until next year for him to take the MLB by storm.

That sucks I was really looking forward to seeing him play for the Mets this september
Just imagine being Zach Lutz right now. You are playing great baseball and you know you are only a few days away from fulfilling your lifelong dream of becoming a Major League baseball player. Now you get hurt and even though you will most likely recover, you now have to wait until next season. A million things can go wrong. You can get injured again more severely. Next spring you will have to battle it out in spring training for even a chance to play big league ball. You were less than a week away from your dream. Now it may never happen.

Forget that...
Imagine if he was healthy back in May and June when David Wright was out. If he was healthy, you could guarantee that he probably would’ve gotten the call to play third base instead of the Turner/Murphy conglomerate that played there for so long and probably would’ve gotten at least 2 months to prove he can hit at the major league level for other teams.
Quite a shame for both Lutz and the Mets. He’d be excellent trade bait.

David Wrongz would make an excellent trade bait, if Lutz was called up.
In lobby for: Jaime Cevallos, Zack Lutz, orange unis and Rickroll as the 7th inning song.
The Unwritten Rules of AA
unfortunately Lutz has a history of injury issues
he’s basically Reese Havens in another body suit.

Except he's not getting the same injury over and over again.
He got beaned twice this season, both times suffering a concussion. In between, a stray foul ball hit him on the hand and broke his finger. That’s just bad luck, not ‘injury issues’.
"And that's why anybody who invested with Lenny Dykstra should really call that number. Lawyers are standing by."

What're you talking about?
Obviously he's snakebitten.

Does anyone else first read his name as Lulz?
The sentence always makes more sense when I realize it’s Lutz.
Because of all his injuries,
I call him ‘Lulz’, in a black humor kind of way.
