NYT article on some school headmasters attempting to find the correct formula to develop students. They meet a Psych prof and learn some fun things and create a two page evaluation to determine the strength of 7 character traits. And more happens than I can accurately sum up here. It's a great read, but every time 'grit' is mentioned I can't help thinking of baseball, BBWAA, and David Eckstein. Then there's this quote: "Sure, a trait can backfire," Witter said.
