Send all of your questions about the Mets farm system to!

AAA - Buffalo Bisons (61-81)_______________________________________

Buffalo ended their season with a double header yesterday against the Yankees farmhands from Scranton.  They split the twin bill despite only having one guy on the field who probably qualifies as any sort of prospect.  Buffalo took ad vantage of several wild pitches in a row to get on the board in the first one, and then Mike Baxter drove in a pair in the 5th to put it out of reach.  I'm not sure if the team even took the field for the second one, but according to the box score Jack Egbert was not terrible through 4 innings of work to take the loss.

AA - Binghamton Mets (65-75)_____________________________________

Binghamton should be fairly happy to see them selves finish a mere 10 games under .500 after where they were at midseason.  Unfortunately their nice 2nd half was concluded by a poor outing from top prospect Matt Harvey who ends his season on a somewhat down note.  Juan Lagares and Allen Dykstra certainly ended the season on a high note...both will be fun to watch next season.

Hi-A St. Lucie Mets (34-36)________________________________________

St. Lucie finished the second half with a loss, and that kept them under .500 for the latter half of the season.  Thanks to winning the first half title though, they'll be joining Savannah and Brooklyn in the playoffs beginning Tuesday (Savannah actually begins Wednesday).

Short Season A- Brooklyn Cyclones (45-29)_______________________________________

Not a bad way to finish the regular season for Brooklyn.  With the win, the Clones finished half a game back of the Staten Island Yankess for the best record in the NY Penn league this season, and they will be matched up against Staten Island for the first round of the playoffs beginning Tuesday.  The Clones are the hotest team in the league heading into the playoffs, having won 6 straight (including a sweep of the Yankees).

 Star of the Night

Hard to give it to anyone other than Eddie Kunz Allen Dykstra tonight.  A nice 2-4 game with a bomb pretty much ended the season with a personal bang, and hopefully Dykstra can improve some on his ability to make contact next season.  If nothing else, it looks like we've found a decent AAAA player with power for a wasted Minaya pick.

Goat of the Night

Jordany Valdespin will get the horns in his last game(s) of the season.  0-5 split over two games will do that.  Still, it was a highly successful season for the youngster, and he's certainly enhanced his standing within the organization this season.
