I was going to say much lower than that,
but you’re not far off. With the arb cases not yet settled, he looks to be tied with Carrasco for 10th-highest salary. Of course, that’s somewhat skewed by there being 6 or more guys on the roster who haven’t even hit their arb years yet.

If Tejada and Murphy are starting middle infielders, I would be plenty happy with Turner and Valdespin off the bench.
