Mets, Ramon Ramirez Avoid Arbitration with one year deal

Ramirez gets one year at $2.65 million, a raise from the $1.65 million he made in 2011 with the Giants.

Looks like a fair number to me

Ramirez has consistently been an above average reliever. He’s a good bet to provide that value and while it’s not a bargain, the salary is low enough that if he fails, it won’t be embarrassing.
