Alderson open to bringing Chris Young back
I have no problem with this, it's not like it's a huge risk and Young knows he can't command big money at this point in his career.

I see no reason not to
Best case scenario, Young is able to come back at some point and pitch effectively at the Major League level for X amount of time, for around a million dollars or so. Where’s the down side, really?

I don't know if, after everything, Chris Young can be called 'high reward'

He's old, injured, and he sucks
He fits right in. Small Market Sandy and Freddie Coupon live for this kind of player.

We need him for another reason

I'd be willing to bet
That Chris Young doesn’t make a single start on a MLB team next year.
Something I don't understand...
Doesn’t C Young have the same injury as Santana? How is it he’ll supposedly be back ready to go before Johan when Johan had his injury identified and surgery a half year sooner?
Or didn’t Young have any surgery?

He needs to teach the rest of the rotation how to hit.
Certain position players could attend too.
