Taylor Buchholz won't be playing in 2012, applauds Mets organization
Taylor Buchholz is going to sit out 2012 because he is still dealing with depression and anxiety, but he lauds the Mets for their classy handling of his situation in 2011. I for one am glad that the Mets handled Buchholz with dignity and respect. Best of luck, Taylor.

That's a shame
He could have been a useful reliever somewhere if not for us. I wish him the best of luck and hope to see him return to the big leagues in 2013.
Good luck to him.

WTF ?
Taylor Buchholz is going to sit out 2012 because he is still dealing with depression and anxiety
What about us ? Do we get to sit out the season, too ?. More importantly, will the Mets handle us with dignity and respect ?
One day, this team is going to kill me.
It's called a boycott; only true fans do it, right?

Taylor Bucholz is the biggest Mets fan ever
while also being a Wilpon ass licker for applauding the Mets class, we all know they don’t have that

But he's not
an exciting player.

Gary Cohen: What's wrong with the script?
Ralph Kiner: Well the script should be the Mets win every day.
Man,
You are really angry at that kid.
Now, kids, being eaten by a crocodile is just like going to sleep; in giant blender.
that kid doesn't have any rings
so he was a failure anyway
Hey, wait! I'm having one of those things. You know? A headache with pictures?

Good luck, Taylor.
Here’s hoping that you work everything out and we see you in a Mets uniform in 2013!

I've suffered some bouts of depression throughout my life
and it truly is one of the worst things to go through, I doubt I could pitch through that. I hope he finds a good place, and gets well soon.

What a terrible thing
to be able to play major league baseball, and yet be unable to.
Yeah, that must be awful.
Though I guess the good thing for him is that if he wants to make a comeback in the near future, at least he has the ability to. It’s not like he suffered a physical injury and had to retire because of that.

I hope Taylor is able to get better and get his life back, with or without baseball.
Also, this is further proof that Ray Ramirez only handles physical injuries. I cringe to think how this could have turned out.

Oh, I hadn't even considered that.
Yeah, we probably avoided a terrible situation there.

When you say things like "handles"
I presume you just mean makes the situation even worse than before.
