Thanking The Mets
It is no secret to those around me that I am not a fan of how the Mets handle their business, whether it is about how they handle their staff, transactions, or anything in the realm of the organization, I just prefer other methods, let's just say.
However, I gained a LOT of respect for the Mets organization when I read recently about how they "handled the Taylor Buchholz situation." Now, I was upset about it being called a "situation," but I understand and won't rant about that.
As someone who has dealt with very similar issues to Buchholz', who I believe has not had his actual condition released yet, but the general gist of his "problems" were released, I can tell you how much it must have meant to him that the Mets treated him the way they did.
The organization let him take his time in returning, and even is considering bringing him back for this season. That's classy, and for that, I apologize for any comments I have made in the past about the Mets, as this is an underrated story, and one that is great to hear.

Good to see Buchholz
thought the same. I read somewhere that if he does return this year, he intends to play here.
Yep, said if he does return he’s only going to play for the Mets

I would love to see him try to work back into the game
Let’s hope it’s more of an “out-indefinitely” status rather than a promise not to pitch at all. I hope he pitches again in a Mets uniform and I hope he gets a standing ovation when he returns.
