There's not a whole lot of news relating to the Mets today after the disappointment of the Gold "Glove" results on Wednesday. Ken Davidoff used the time to talk about the need to avoid TRAIDs like the one involving Angel Pagan last winter, but that's easy to say in hindsight. Yes, it worked out well for the Giants, but the Mets' process was fine. Sometimes things just don't work out.

Fangraphs took a look at David Wright and his excellent season in 2012. Staying away from the inside pitches really helped.

Yesterday at AA:

The Mets officially picked up the options for 2013 on both R.A. Dickey and David Wright. Now the fun begins...

Pack looked back at Halloween in the Mets' history, a day which has seen Tom Seaver win a Cy Young.
