It'll take Wheeler

We all know the Mets are looking for a blue-chip major league ready outfield prospect. We all know there are no teams that will trade said prospect for a 38 y/o pitcher OR even a John Niese. You gotta give up something to get something. Why not Wheeler? Trade a blue-chip pitching prospect for the outfield prospect we need. The rotation would still have Harvey, Niese, Dickey, Santana and fill in your choice for 5th.

Seems like we're deep enough in pitching to offer up our best pitching prospect if what we want is another team's best hitting prospect?
