2012 AA Prospects List #7
With 42% of the vote Reese Havens is elected the #6 community prospect.
1: Matt Harvey, SP
2: Zack Wheeler, SP
3: Jeurys Familia, SP
4: Brandon Nimmo, OF
5: Kirk Nieuwenhuis, OF
6: Reese Havens, MI
The poll for #7 will be open until 12AM on Saturday. When voting please do so without looking at the results first. I know it's tempting but I would like an honest result.
Additionally, please lobby who should be added to the next poll in the comments.

Lobby for Lutz in the List.
In lobby for: Jaime Cevallos, Zack Lutz, orange unis and Rickroll as the 7th inning song.

I picked Puello but Valdespin is close
These two are pretty similar in a lot of ways (speed and power). At first I leaned to Valdespin because he’s already playing at AAA while Cesar Puello has only played at A+. I usually favor proximity to MLB to potential. On the other hand, Valdespin’s weaknesses are more dramatic (can’t draw a walk or catch a groundball). The fact that Puello is nearly 4 years younger was the thing that really tipped things his way.

I feel like Harvey and Familia, while closer to the bigs than some other guys on the list
are still very much loaded with upside (unless by upside you mean “have yet to transform tools into production”).

My Heart Says Den Dekker
But my brain says Puello, so sorry Matt, maybe next time.
Down 2 in the bottom of the ninth?
Lets Bring in Willie Harris!
Well by the looks of it, Puello and Valdesin are going to go in the next two polls so that means 2 of those 3 you mentioned will be up when the voting opens up a bit.
Save Jenrry Mejia!

And Flores seems to be gathering a larger and larger cast of supporters so it's likely he comes off soon too.

I went Valdespin here
but it was a toss up between him, Puello and Flores for me. Valdespin’s 2011 put him slightly ahead, since he seemed to turn his tools into actual baseball skills and did it at AA, no less, while Puello and Flores still have yet to break out.
The next one will be interesting for sure. I lean Flores because I like his contact skills but Puello’s power growth makes him interesting.
