Midnight Mets Mind Boggler -- The Mets Hall Of Fame
The announcement of John Franco's scheduled induction into the Mets Hall of Fame inspired this one. Can you name the members of the Mets Hall of Fame? There are 25, with the first enshrinements taking place in 1981.
Hint: Players, managers, announcers, owners and front office personnel have been recognized.

15/25, embarrassed that I missed Mookie
Should’ve got Harrelson, Cleon Jones and Kranepool. The rest must be behind the scenes people because I still don’t know who they are except Shea.
About 1/2 are announcers, executives, and managers.

Missed Cashen, Grote, and Weiss
Proud supporter of a New York baseball team and a Boston football team. Yeah, deal with it!

Missed Agee, Weiss, Payson…did remember Cashen and Davey though. I think McDowell and Orosco should have a joint event btw. Orosco definitely deserves it, he was better than McGraw.

I suck at baseball history when i’m trying to think of it off the top of my head, but go “oh damn, of course” as soon as i see the names
Hey, wait! I'm having one of those things. You know? A headache with pictures?
17/25
I spelled Stengel wrong so should be 18. Four I missed I should have gotten, including the announcing trio and reliever and three I just never heard of.
I would love to see John Olerud inducted
Even though his tenure with the Mets was very short, it was awesome, and helped result in one of the only playoff berths in the last 20 years. That’s something of note.
25/25, but I've known this for a while
Should say 1963-1965 for Stengel. Gil Hodges playing tenure listed threw me off at first, but that’s low hanging fruit anyway. It’s freaking awesome that for Ralph it says “1962-present”, and I was frustrated because I kept trying “Keith” instead of Hernandez.
37 - 14 - 41 - 31 - 17 - 42 - SHEA
I went with 1975 for Stengel because Wikipedia listed him as Mets VP from 1966-1975

Good catch. I never knew that
I’m angry that edgardo alfonzo wasn’t a correct answer yet.

He should be in too, with Olerud, Piazza, and Ventura.
Ahhh, 1999. Was a very good year.
23/25
Shea & Cashen.
Ralph Kiner: You've gotta change the script, I don't like the script.
Gary Cohen: What's wrong with the script?
Ralph Kiner: Well the script should be the Mets win every day.
20/25
Just missed a bunch of the early ones (and typed Weis instead of Weiss, I knew there was a non-Al Weis in there somewhere…). My first thought for the 1962-Present one was Mr. Met, but the years don’t match up. He’s in the Mascot Hall of Fame, why not the Mets Hall of Fame?
Retire These Already
2012 will be done by Memorial Day, so we need to correct some oversights. Mets, take your pick, retire any of the following this year – Mookie’s # 1, Mex’s 17, Kids 8, or Koosman’s 36.
Seriously, is there anything better to think about this summer?
