Congrats to the Giants on winning their second Super Bowl in five seasons. That handsome, talented scallywag Tom Brady will surely toss and turn all night on top of a pile of money beside his supermodel wife. Poor guy.
Check out Big Blue View, SBN: New York, and SBNation.com for full coverage of the game and its glorious aftermath.

6-6, down 12 in Dallas with like 4 minutes to go...and now, SB champs
Surreal. Eli Manning is just awesome.

Thank you Mara and Tisch
The Giants are the only pro team I root for that has great ownership in place. It’s no surprise that they are my only team to win a title in the last 15+ years. I feel truly blessed to call myself a fan of the Giants. I hope I can say the same about being a Mets fan sometime in the future.

Let's go Mets, Giants, Knicks, Rangers, PSU
I don't think I've
ever felt more indifferent at the end of a sports game in my entire life. A team I don’t really like beating another team I don’t really like in a sport I don’t like to watch, but feel obligated to once a year. Congrats Giants fans, enjoy it, because I have no idea how to enjoy football.
That’s over now. Bring on baseball! Let’s go Mets!

Loved Jacobs attempt to stop on the goal line to kill the clock
which ended in him tripping over his own feet for the game winning TD.

That was Bradshaw

Bradshaw
Now that it’s said and over with, that mistake looks sweet. It went from “Shit!” to “Swag”.

I thought it was the right move
I mean, you have to go up by 4 with 57 seconds left and let your D take it from there, right? If you let the clock wind down, God forbid there’s a fumble or bad snap or a Cundiff’d kick on the game winning field goal attempt.
I could see the logic in Bradshaw not scoring if the game is tied, but not when you’re trailing, as the Giants were at that moment.

In retrospect, since it all worked out, it doesn't matter, but
the touchdown itself in that play was a bad move. Kneeling at the 1, and wasting time was the thing to do. The touchdown would have been scored (presumably. I mean, they would have been at the 1 yard line) at the next play. There was like a minute or so on the clock. Ultimatley nothing came of it, but the Patriots with a minute are a lot more threatening than the Patriots with 30 seconds.

I see your point, and was in between at the time, but disagree now
anything could go wrong, like a fumble or blocked FG as GreenpointIan said

This game
required me to be on life support for the last 3 minutes…….
I haven’t had a thrill like that since ….
Jerry put Ollie in to pitch the last game of the season
One day, this team is going to kill me.
nah
once we got the ball into FG range, I knew we would win it

3rd Superbowl I've seen the Giants win.
I would trade at least 2 of them for one Mets World Championship.
(Yes, I was alive in 1986, but remember next to nothing about either the Mets or Giants titles that season).
Mark Cuban for owner! Save us from the Wilpons!
I think I'd be willing to trade 1990 & 2011
for a Mets title. Especially if I could retroactively go back and trade it for a 1999 Mets title (God Damn did that team deserve to win, plus I was in high school and the Mets were pretty much all that was good and holy in my life).
I definitely wouldn’t trade Super Bowl XLII though, not for anything. The Mets are above the Giants on my hierarchy of teams, but I don’t think anything, ever, will be as amazingly enjoyable as Super Bowl XLII was.
I like sports again. Thank you Tom & Eli. The Wilpons can still go suck it.
1990 was the shit
what with the gulf war and all………..I’d keep all three SB’s, and take away two Yankee WS…..
One day, this team is going to kill me.
I was too young in 1990 to really appreciate it
and, I mean, up until this past decade that was pretty much the gold standard for Super Bowl’s, but like Ian I’m slightly too young to remember ‘86 and I’d give almost anything for a Mets championship.
How about this: I’d trade this years Super Bowl plus the Giants 2000 Super Bowl appearance for the Mets to have beaten the Yankees in the Subway Series? I think that’s a fair trade (maybe not, I’d be willing to trade the 2000 Super Bowl appearance for nothing. That sucked.)
I like sports again. Thank you Tom & Eli. The Wilpons can still go suck it.

I'd go with that
I also agree with you that I’d never trade Superbowl XLII for anything. That was far and away the greatest moment of my sport fan life.
