Are we allowed to give money to the minor league franchises, or would that somehow help the Wilpons and forever doom the Mets? I couldn’t keep track of whether it was acceptable to attend games, watch them on TV, or subscribe to a cable plan that includes SNY, and now there’s this. Won’t somebody please tell me how I’m allowed to spend my money? I thought I was doing my part by living too far away to attend games and refusing to pay an extra $30/month for a television package that includes SNY, but… Clearance baseball cards of all our favorite Minaya-era Mets! I sure hope I can trust Mal’s e-commerce with my credit card info, that sounds like a reputable operation. Just don’t order the girl-in-a-box, nothing good ever comes from that.
