2012 AA Prospects List #3
Matt Harvey is voted prospect #1 with 61% of the vote. However, because Zack Wheeler received 34% of the vote (over 30 higher then his nearest competition) I'm going to go ahead and name him prospect #2 because I can and it's pretty obvious he's a top-2 prospect in the system.
The poll will be open until 12AM on Saturday. And again, when voting please do so without looking at the results first. I know it's tempting but I would like an honest result.
Additionally, please lobby who should be added to the next poll in the comments.

I'm going with strict rookie eligibility for this list.
To qualify for rookie status, a player must not have exceeded 130 at-bats or 50 innings pitched in the Major Leagues, or accumulated more than 45 days on the active roster of a Major League club or clubs during the 25-player limit period, excluding time on the disabled list or in military service.
That means Mejia, Gee, and Tejada are not eligible.

Who cares if he lost his rookie status due to a couple months of idiotic mop-up-man duty?
Mejia clearly meets every common-sense standard of a prospect: he’s just 22, has barely pitched above A-ball, and next time he pitches, it’ll be in the minors.
Yes and his arb clock started to tick
2years ago.
Don't care about the rookie thing much.
I’d still consider him more of an actual “prospect” then say, the rookie eligible Yu Darvish.
Can't vote on my phone
But it’s gotta be Familia, Nimmo number four.

Lobby to put Lutz on the next poll.
In lobby for: Jaime Cevallos, Zack Lutz, orange unis and Rickroll as the 7th inning song.
The Unwritten Rules of AA
I would encourage everyone to rec this
so it remains on the side bar longer. That way, we can have more participation.
Now, kids, being eaten by a crocodile is just like going to sleep; in giant blender.
I would have vote Familia whoever was on this poll
but I’d like some more options for the next one please.
Following the Mets from across the pond.
More then five you mean?
I guess I could do that.

I think SBN implemented a new format.
I for one hate it.

Are they trying to move views away from FanPosts?
What if I come to see only FanPosts?

Havens should be added next if you're sticking to 5.
I’d go Fulmer than Valderspin after that.
I don’t think the small selection is going to matter for a couple more rounds as I think Familia, Nimmo and Flores round out our top prospects easily.

Unless they are total blow outs like the first one.

And now looking at the poll
this is a total blow out. If it is still like this at 12 tonight I’ll probably end it.

I think this is pretty obvious.
Kirk doesn’t have the upside of Familia and Flores/Puello/Nimmo are all still too far away and haven’t performed enough yet to warrant that ranking.
Chamption of the R.A. Dickey Face contest and "Cromulent Photoshopper Extraordinaire" of Amazin' Avenue!

Familia
Familia is grouped together with Harvey & Wheeler, albeit a notch below them, so # 3 seems correct for him.
It gets interesting starting at # 4.
