Mets Bring Back RHP Kevin Mulvey On A Minor League Deal

Mulvey is a Parlin, NJ native and was the Mets' 2nd round pick in the 2006 draft (their first pick) out of Villanova. He was dealt to the Twins as a part of the package for Johan Santana, then was dealt by the Twins to the Diamondbacks in exchange for current Mets reliever Jon Rauch. He was released by Arizona last week and has 27.1 major league innings to his name.
