After an eventful day off full of trials and settlements and minority shares and lots of other exciting legal and financial stuff, the Mets return to action in Port St. Lonesome to take on the Nationals in a rare evening spring training tilt. Hot twilight action!
Righty Dillon Gee will take the mound tonight, as will his goatee. Gee's had a decent spring, with the second highest K total on the staff and only two walks, but he has given up a fair amount of hits, so let's see what we can do about that tonight, sir. Ruben Tejada is scheduled to return to the field after dealing with a groin injury, reportedly at second base. If that's not enough to get you to tune in, perhaps you'd be interested in this Nationals pitcher I keep hearing about. Stephen something? Or maybe it's Somebody Strasburg? I dunno, but I hear he's not bad.
You can catch the game on SNY and eventually on MLB Network, which is showing the game on a delay for some reason. Your guess is as good as mine, folks.
