Mets and The Minors

Ok now stay with me for a second because you will think I'm crazy. Which two guys do we really need to step up this year? David Wright and Jason Bay, we know Wright can put up a 90+ RBI season but he slumps way too much. and Jason Bay, obviously he still hasn't proved himself he's worth his contract. Now here's where you'll think I'm crazy but why not instead of letting Wright slump for 50-60 at bats, send him down to Triple A for a week or so? I know he gets paid too much for the Mets to do that but that really shouldn't matter, why let him suffer almost 50 At Bats? they could send him down just for a week just to get some one on one time and get back on track. It can't hurt to do this. Same thing for Jason Bay, all his slumps are mental which take time to get out of. if they tried it, maybe instead of 60 meaningless at bats can only be maybe 20 or so. it cant hurt.
