Hello all,

My name is Joe and I am brand new to this blog as well as following baseball closely. While I have been a life long Mets fan at heart I have never been able to name a Mets line up or reference a statistic past or present if my life depended on it. I want that all to change this year. I am hoping some fellow Mets fans could help me out and point me in the right direction to learning some history about this team. I know Google is a great tool but I don't trust everything on the Internet especially when I am so new to something and don't really know much on the subject yet. Any books I can pick up or trusted sources on the Internet would be much appreciated! I look forward to any help my fellow friends(mets fans) can give me.
