I just heard on MLB Network that Lannan requested to be traded after being optioned to AAA. If the Mets are moving to a 6 Man rotation to provide Santana additional rest (as some reports suggest) Wouldn't Lannan be an excellent option? I can't imagine that he'd cost much seeing as how he has fallen out of favor with Davey. Lannan is a lefty and he was the opening day starter last year.
