Only two games to cover today, as St. Lucie had the day off and Savannah was hit by lousy weather.

AAA - Buffalo Bisons (21-16)_______________________________________

BUFFALO 7, CHARLOTTE 6 (Box)

Can you tell by the highlighted guys that we're running out of real hitting prospects at Buffalo? Matt Harvey didn't have his greatest outing of the season, but he was consistently in the strike zone today. 63 strikes to 28 balls is a decent enough ball to strike ratio, it's his second best performance in that regard this season. Unfortunately for Matt, Charlotte managed to make good contact off of him in the 5th and 6th innings. That cut short what had been an excellent showing through 4.

AA - Binghamton Mets (17-18)_____________________________________

BINGHAMTON 7, NEW HAMPSHIRE 6 (Box)

Greg Peavey didn't have his best game yesterday, but the B-Mets offense did enough for the win. Jeffrey Marte put the Mets ahead with a 2 R blast in the 7th, and the bullpen would hold it from there. Matt Den Dekker also continued his recent hot hitting.

Star of the Night

It's got to be Marte. Clutch HR to put the B-Mets ahead for good? Check. When the organization only has two games being played, that will usually do it.
