As our top 3 pitching prospects continue to develop down in Buffalo and Binghamton, I, like many am hopeful for the future. Each time I see the stat lines from one of Harvey/Wheeler/Familia's starts, being the optimist that I am when it comes to prospects, I try to keep this quote from Paul DePodesta in mind, "If two out of the four [Mejia being the other, but I don't know if he is technically considered a prospect] hit, we will be very pleased. If at least two don't, Sandy's gonna kill me and JP." (I may have paraphrased some of that). I was just wondering what the general feeling is around AA; if you could only choose two of the big 3 prospects to pan out, even if they don't reach their ceilings, which two would you rather have. I would like to use this space to apologize for the absolute lack of statistical analysis, the horrible, terrible, no good, very bad joke, and the level of journalism that falls somewhere between Bleacher Report and the guy at UPI who put this article together.
