AAA - Buffalo Bisons (36-28)_______________________________________

BUFFALO 4, NORFOLK 2 (Box)

Buffalo jumped out to a 2-0 lead early before giving it right back with runs in each of the next 2 frames. A Cory Wimberly double and a Rob Johnson HR would be enough for the Buffalo bullpen though.

AA - Binghamton Mets (29-30)_____________________________________

TRENTON 3, BINGHAMTON 2 (Box)

Binghamton held a 2-1 lead with 2 outs in the bottom of the 10th, but a 2 run single would see them lose in walk of fashion to keep them from going over .500 and completing their first road sweep of the season. Greg Peavey had to work around trouble all night, but Brad Holt and Armando Rodriguez did an excellent job of keeping this game tied at one to give the Mets a shot in extras.

Hi-A St. Lucie Mets (47-15)_______________________________________

ST. LUCIE 10, CHARLOTTE 3 (Box)

Charlotte jumped out to an early lead with two in the bottom of the first. St. Lucie would scrape runs out in the 4th and the 8th to take this one to extras. There wasn't much separating the teams until the Mets exploded for 7 runs in the top of the 14th to put this one to bed. 32 games over .500 and counting...

Lo-A Savannah Sand Gnats (35-26)__________________________________

SAVANNAH 1, CHARLESTON 0 (Box)

This game was suspended in the 4th, it's due to be completed today.

Star of the Night

Lots of good performances tonight to choose from, but I had a hard time finding one that really stood out from the rest. The whole St. Lucie offense gets a star as a result for their 14th inning explosion.

Goat of the Night

Reese Havens had one of his worst nights this season, and it's been a relatively awful season for him. Please start to hit again Reese...
