Why isn't Ridickeylousness as popular as Linsanity was? Is it because he is white and not Asian? Is it because he is on the Mets? Is it because he plays every 5 days and not every day or two? I just don't get it. Here you have a guy who was molested as a child, who was born without a UCL, who should not be able to even turn a doorknob without feeling excruciating pain, and was having a terrible career throughout the minors, yet somehow is able to miraculously become a major league pitcher, throw a knuckleball, finally start being good in his late thirties, and become the best pitcher in baseball - in New York. AND his name is Dickey! What the hell else does he have to do to get popular around here?
