AAA - Buffalo Bisons (34-26)_______________________________________

BUFFALO 5, COLOMBUS 1 (Box)

Colombus came into the game with a hot offense, but Jeurys Familia did an excellent job in quieting their bats. Brad Emaus and Fred Lewis led a Buffalo offense that easily did enough to back up a fine pitching performance from the Bison starter.

AA - Binghamton Mets (26-29)_____________________________________

HARRISBURG 4, BINGHAMTON 3 (Box)

Just looking at the offense, you'd assume that Bingo should have won this one. 13 hits including 3 triples will usually result in more than 3 runs, but unfortunately that wasn't the case today. Colin McHugh struggled a bit in this one as well, allowing 4 runs to cross the plate.

Hi-A St. Lucie Mets (46-13)________________________________________

ST. LUCIE 3, CLEARWATER 1 (Box)

In the day's most shocking development, the St. Lucie Mets won again. Yohan Almonte had an excellent outing which Adam Kolarek easily preserved. The offense wasn't really cracking today, but a win is a win all the same.

Lo-A Savannah Sand Gnats (34-23)__________________________________

SAVANNAH 8, ASHEVILLE 1 (Box)

.Logan Verrett made his first start since the middle of April and looked pretty good in the process. With the Savannah offense havind a good outing, this one was really never in doubt.

Star of the Night

Matt Den Dekker had himself quite the night, coming up a HR short of the cycle. There were some good performances tonight, but it's hard to overlook that one.
