I'm sure Sandy is regretting trading Angel Pagan for Ramon Ramirez and Andres Torres.

Torres: .205/.333./.303 with 1 HR, 22 RBI, 9 SB,.636 OPS, .277 AVG vs. LHP,0.6 WAR,1.8 UZR

Pagan: .286/.330/.407 with 5 HR, 34 RBI,.737 OPS,.266 AVG vs. LHP 16 SB, 1.7 WAR,-2.8 UZR

Ramirez:.2-1, 3.82 ERA, 1 SV,2 BLSV, 1 HLD, 33 IP, 28 SO,1.45 WHIP. 0.3 WAR

Pagan has been much better than Torres offensively. and only slightly better defensively. Ramirez has been pretty bad for the mets this year. His ERA has been above 4 for most of the season. Combined Torres and Ramirez have a 5.55 Mil $ salary, while Pagan has a 4.85 Mil $ Salary. My question is why would Sandy trade Pagan, for Torres, a scrub that can't hit, and for Ramirez, a quality set up man who decided to start sucking. This move made the team older and added $ 700,000 in salary,not to mention that Pagan can hit,Torres can't. If the mets had Pagan, they could play him everyday in Centerfield, while Torres is not an everyday player.Terrible move by Sandy.
