As difficult it would be to stomach trading our best player, a Cy Young candidate, a player who is cheaply under control for another season...expecially mid season, not yet out of it with an extra wildcard...but I cant help but think, what kind of prospect haul would the Mets get for Dickey? Most would agree thay trading Beltran for Wheeler was the right move, we hopefully got a future starter out of it...Dickey could possibly get a greater return than Greinke or Hamels and if the mets could get 2 or 3 or 4 top prospects, they would be foolish not to consider it....could a Dickey trade be for the Mets what the Hershell Walker trade was for the 70s Cowboys? Would you consider trading our beloved ace? What would you demand/expect in return?
