AAA - Buffalo Bisons (51-53)_______________________________________

LOUISVILLE 4, BUFFALO 1 (Box)

Not much in the way of excitement in this one, but Mike Baxter will likely be reuniting Kirk Nieuwenhuis with Lucas Duda very soon.

AA - Binghamton Mets (48-54)_____________________________________

BINGHAMTON 4, NEW BRITAIN 3 (Box)

Eric Campbell continued his quietly excellent season, boosting his OBP to .418 and his OPS to .902 with his solid night. Mark Cohoon continued to look like an excellent 2 1/2 A pitcher in the process, as the Mets are now in position to go for the sweep today.

Hi-A - St. Lucie Mets (13-19)________________________________________

ST. LUCIE 7, BRADENTON 5 (Box)

Rafael Montero had another decent outing as St. Lucie got back to winning ways.

Lo-A - Savannah Sand Gnats (14-18)__________________________________

SAVANNAH 8, KANNAPOLIS 1 (Box)

Jacob DeGrom put together another fantastic start for the Gnats. Between he and Logan Verrett, the Mets may have themselves another interesting pair of starting pitching prospects. Dustin Lawley did enough on his own to provide the offense necessary for DeGrom tonight.

    Appalachian League (R) - Kingsport Mets (9-22)__________________________________

    ELIZABETHTON 12, KINGSPORT 5 (Box)

There just isn't much to be done when your starter does what Akeel Morris did last night. Kingsport really never had a chance in this one.

    Star of the Night

Dustin Lawley went yard twice last night, earning himself a shiny new gold star in the process.

    Goat of the Night

Can it possibly be anyone other than Akeel Morris?
