It's a bit of a tough time to be a Mets fan. The team is losing, and at this point even R.A. Dickey's starts aren't that enjoyable (which is really saying something). But if you're a big baseball fan, it's hard to totally tear yourself away from it. So if you're having trouble really immersing yourself in actual baseball because it just makes you sad, you can do what I do and add in fantasy baseball as well. Then, at least, you can have control over the team! So yeah, here's the Pick 6 news and updates for today.
We had one player do really, really well yesterday, with the rest a bit behind.
Nice game, BobbyV_Incognito. Your effort embiggens us all. Obviously this early in the week, it's easy to have big moves since the scores aren't crystallized yet, so let's see how that affects the weekly standings.
So Bobby V's big day puts him in the top spot, though with a much narrower lead than in the daily game. I, on the other hand, did not have a big day and am nowhere near the top spot. I managed 17.6 points, which is "poor" in technical terms.
A couple of players did well (Jimmy Rollins often performs well for me, for some reason), but poor performances outweighed it. So, what to do today?
I guess I'm sticking with Rollins until he fails me. It's not fun.
