Eyes Wide Shut

I swear I've seen this a bunch of times before but I used my DVR replay button to triple check . . . Josh Thole shuts his eyes when batters swing the bat. He definitely did on Stanton's swinging strike three in the 4th inning - there was a replay that was tight enough to see it clearly. I'm not claiming he does it every single time but it's certainly not rare. Anyone know if other catchers do it as well? In slightly related news, Zack Wheeler's had 3 of 4 would-be base-stealers succeed off him tonight. He's at 1 r, 2 hits, 5 k's but 4 walks through 5ip as I write this.
