Mets Player Performance Meter, Week 22: Pitchers

As has been the case all season, the Mets' pitching staff has been strong lately. Team rankings don't change much at this stage of the season, but the Mets' rotation has a 3.83 ERA, seventh best in the National League and just .03 behind the Philadelphia Phillies' rotation.

Manny Acosta, RHP			The Acostalypse has been about as good in the second half as he was in 2010 and 2011. On the year, he's down to a 6.80 ERA.
Robert Carson, LHP			His strikeouts haven't caught up to his stuff yet, but that could eventually happen.
R.A. Dickey, RHP			Dickey's only two runs allowed in eight-plus innings came on a home run that Jon Rauch surrendered in relief. Still another great start for the Mets' best Cy Young candidate in years. And he damn near hit a grand slam in that start, too.
Josh Edgin, LHP			Edgin's season ends with a brutal outing: 0.2 innings, 4 hits, 4 runs.
Jeurys Familia, RHP			Familia's guaranteed to finish the year with an ugly ERA after giving up six runs in just 1.1 innings. The Phillies really tattooed him in the 16-1 debacle.
Frank Francisco, RHP			Frank Frank hasn't pitched in a while and may not pitch again this year because of elbow discomfort.
Justin Hampson, LHP			Five outs, no hits, no runs for the journeyman lefty.
Matt Harvey, RHP			As far as season finales go, Harvey's 7 K, 3 BB, 1 R performance against the Phillies was about as good as it gets.
Jeremy Hefner, RHP			Ouch.
Collin McHugh, RHP			He threw three effective innings of long relief with zero strikeouts or walks.
Jenrry Mejia, RHP			Between a relief appearance and his start last night, Mejia put together six scoreless innings.
Jon Niese, LHP			The strikeouts and walks were good — 7 and 1 in 6.1 innings, respectively — but he did give up three runs in that span.
Bobby Parnell, RHP			Strikeouts have never been a problem for Parnell, and he allowed only one hit in 4.1 innings this week.
Elvin Ramirez, RHP			One inning, one run. Elvin's had a rough time in the big leagues at every opportunity.
Ramon Ramirez, RHP			A decent week, but Ramirez has been incredibly disappointing since coming over with Andres Torres in the Angel Pagan trade.
Jon Rauch, RHP			Despite the aforementioned home run that cost Dickey's ERA a few points, Rauch struck out five and walked none in just 2.1 innings of work.
Chris Young, RHP			Young has very quietly been effective more often than not, and he's thrown 109 innings with a 4.21 ERA on the season.
