Mike Trout and an Angels reliever save the author's night, as the Pick 6 season starts to wind down.
One of my favorite things about the new SB Nation layout is the fact that I don't have to worry anymore about negotiating the page break built in for the jump anymore. Stories are almost always just going to be a single page now, so in posts like this one, where I don't really have anything to say that's not directly Pick 6-related, I can more or less get right to it. Though I suppose I've just written about a hundred words that aren't really related to the game, so maybe it won't make that much of a difference after all.

There's a bit of a gap between the top three, which I am inexplicably in, and the rest, but that will almost definitely sort itself out in the next couple of days.
Here's my team and their 32.3 points from yesterday:
Frieri really saved my bacon there, and with Trout and Medlen having decent games (Trout more so, obviously) my six had a respectable score. I'll need to do better if I ever plan to win anything, though.
That's a decent enough team, right? RIGHT?!
